Elephant Ears
The Elephant Ear plant gets its name from the leaves, which are shaped like a large ear or shield.  In the southern United States, it is called a dasheen or malanga.  These plants are closely related to caladiums, however they have only green leaves which are up to ten times larger than caladium leaves.
