After years of research and hybridizing, three new
types of caladiums have been developed. They are: Strap Leaf, Lance Leaf, and Dwarf. The bulbs are smaller in size but have
more eyes that produce a dense, low growing plant.
Because the harvest per acre is much smaller, they cost
more to grow and the supply is limited. These smaller varieties have a brilliant color
and they are unusual in appearance and can tolerate more sunlight.

STRAP These bulbs produce more leaves making them ideal for a ground cover or front row planting. Typically they stay under 12" in height.
LANCE Different from other caladiums in that they have a lance-point shaped leaf with ruffled edges. Typically they stay under 12" in height.
DWARF Similar in looks to fancy leaf caladiums but have smaller leaves. Grow almost as tall as fancy varieties.
Boxes of mixed varieties of Strap & Dwarf Caladiums are also available.  Those varieties denoted by the
are sun tolerant.
The shopping cart will display the only sizes available for each variety.
