 June Bride is a good sun tolerant white. In its first year of growth the leaf is usually dominated by green. However, in subsequent years it is not uncommon for June Bride to emerge almost solid white with just a fine green edge. The picture to the left is a 2nd year June Bride. To keep the leaf from acquiring too much green, fertilizer should be used sparingly. True to the white varieties, June Bride does not typically produce a large bulb.
